February 22, 20215 yr Quick question... When installing 3rd party airports (paid or unpaid) over a default enhanced airport (for example, FSDT ORD over default enhanced ORD), do I need to unisntall or remove the default manually? If that is the case, how do i do that? February 22, 20215 yr They usually install into the community folder, this overwrites it in the sim. PC: Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Super Aorus Master, DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2X32 GB, Corsair HX 1000, Fractal Torrent, Samsung LC32 / G7 1440P.

This is true in general, but there are some things an airport cannot mask. I believe the recommendation from FSDT is to disable the stock "enhanced" airports if you're using theirs. There are some posts on the forum here about this if you want to search for them.
