February 25, 20215 yr I have watched many videos on Drone use. They say that the drone can be used on autopilot I use an X box controller and on the ground, all adjustments work perfectly. I take off, actgivate the drone, and none of the adjustments work when I I set the AP on. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong. The drone follows the aircraft, but always in the same position that I had set up on the ground.
February 25, 20215 yr There's an option in the drone camera menu that's enabled by default for it to be locked to your aircraft. Untick that. You can also increase the drone speed which is very helpful for exploring. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

Now if you have an Xbox controller, the 2 joystick will move the camera 360 degrees. If you press in the left stick you can toggle the lock mode where the camera will keep the plane in frame no matter where you push the sticks. Pressing the right stick with do a flyby, pressing it again will go back to original position. Left and right trigger buttons move up and down, left and right bumper buttons rotate the screen, press x and a together and the drone view resets. Press y and b together and you will turn on and off the blur. Press the right trigger plus b to increase blur, or left trigger and b to decrease blur. There are lots of functions. These are just ones I remember and use regularly.

They acted like the AP had to be on, as soon as I switched it off just now, the X box controls worked. Thanks.
