February 28, 20215 yr Reinstalled Windows 10, MSFS and TrackIR. TrackIR doesn't show MSFS in the list of titles and when I try to look for game updates in TiR I get a server error: 'An error occured while contacting the update server' and then (in Dutch) it says the data is not valid. Already uninstalled and reinstalled TiR: no luck. Are the servers down perhaps...? Is there any other way to get MSFS see TrackIR...?

[email protected] I posted on their forum last sunday: no reply (it took over a day for the post to be approved). I mailed them: no reply. However... I just noticed a new topic on the forum from the devs: "Hello TrackIR community, Kai from NaturalPoint here. There is currently an issue with the TrackIR server and updating the gameslist. We are working to get it fixed as soon as possible. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions." So it's not me or my computer: there is an actual problem causing TrackIR to not work with MSFS if you've done a fresh install of ev everything. (Funny how they say you should mail them if you have questions but still don't answer them...) Edited March 2, 20215 yr by tup61

I had that problem for about 6 months after a game list update that mysteriously fixed itself eventually. Since then I never update the gamelist 😄 MEANWHILE - there is a work around if you cannot get it to recognise MSFS - install the TIRmouse.exe software and create a shortcut for it. Then once you are in game simply run TIRmouse.exe and the trackIR will work.
