Hi Guys,

I currently have a 49 inch 4 k LG television I use for my monitor.

It does give me the option to run in 4096 x 2048 resolution which is awesome.

I would like to go bigger (Minimum 55 inch)...can anybody reccomend a TV and confirm it gives you the option of 4096 x 2048 resolution via the Nvidia contol panel?

Thank you

Dave

The normal resolution for a UHD TV is 3840*2160. I believe UHD projectors can deliver 4096*2160 but I’ve never known a TV to.

Check your user manual. Increasing the resolution above the maximum number of pixels will bring no gain and could actually result in a worse image.

Yeah I don't think you will find any TV's running that resolution. Going to be hard to find an actual computer monitor running that high (saw only two on a quick search of NewEgg) and they will be much smaller than 55". A 3090 GPU struggles with standard 4K in MSFS, even more pixels seems like an unachievable goal.

I just went from a 32” 2k monitor to a 55” 4K Samsung Q80T (see thread in this forum) and am loving every minute of it, very good TV for flight sims.
