March 13, 20215 yr I purshased the Aermacchi MB-339 a while back, but never got to use it until yesterday. The problem is that I got a clicking sound when sitting in the cockpit that I have no idea how to shut off. First I thought I've accidentally had the magneto swich on my Yoke on to "both", but no, so I've tried almost every switch in the cockpit with no success. Any idea of what causing this clicking sound? Come here you big, beautiful cup of coffee and lie to me about how much we’re going to get done today.
March 13, 20215 yr I don't have the MB-339 but I was previously getting a ticking sound which I discovered was the ignition key constantly turning back and forth in those aircraft which had one. Maybe a similar issue, maybe not. In my case it went away after the UK update, I posted about it here, for what it's worth. March 14, 20215 yr Author Thanks 109Sqn for the suggestion, but that wasn't the case for me, but the sound strogly resembles the sound I'm getting when the ignition key constantly turning back and forth when I has forgotten the key on start position. March 14, 20215 yr Hmmm, so it might be the same problem but being caused by something else. Hopefully it goes away with an update if not before.🤞 OS: Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHzRAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB] SSD: Corsair Force MP510 (for OS); 2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)HDD: Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)
March 15, 20215 yr Author JEPETER2, I thought you had to have the AP on for it to be the the the trim clacker? Come here you big, beautiful cup of coffee and lie to me about how much we’re going to get done today.
March 21, 20215 yr Author I finaly solved it. It was my Honecomb Bravo throttle that was the culprit. As soon I disconnected the Bravo thottle and plugged in my Thurstmaster Warthog throttle instead, the clicking sound dissapeared 😁. Or to be fair, the culprit could be bad coding in the MSFS 2020 or in the MB-339. But at this time, in the light of recent event with the sim, my money is on the MSFS 2020 😉 Edited March 21, 20215 yr by Cloudpiercing Come here you big, beautiful cup of coffee and lie to me about how much we’re going to get done today.
