512GB SSD and 2TB hard drive.

I want to replace my system with the following tower computer

and the price tag

origin-2.jpg

I will appreciate your input. Thanks

ASUS, Intel® Core™ i7-7700K, CPU 4.8GHz, NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti 11GB, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD + 2TB HDD, ASUS 43" PG43UQ Monitor G-SYNC, LG UltraGear 27" GN850 G-SYNC

Well that an outdated CPU now. 7700K. And the GPU is hardly up to date.

I would say shop around a bit more and try and spec more up to date parts. It's over $5000 as well. 😬

Probably you misunderstood. The 7700-CPU and the 1080ti-GPU reflect what i currently have. The posted images are the new system i want to buy- over $5K. The configured system is the the top(sort of) the line. I want input for the new buy-pros/cons.

If I already had a "7700-CPU and the 1080ti-GPU", in these strange times when graphics card prices are through the roof and availability virtually nil, I would not even consider upgrading. MSFS would very likely not run much better on your intended new PC than it does on the one you already have. There is a good  amount of headroom between what your images show and a top of the range system. If the price really is $5000 and you need to spend it, then have a look at this post, where for far less money, there is a far better system.

Oh right, sorry.

I guess I got to wait and use my existing system which serves me very well for my desktop cockpit for the 737 Zibo mod- not so good though for FS2020. Thank you guys

i got a great deal from these guys in Australia a couple of months back before all the component shortages really started to hit.
Looks like they've sold out of the AMD Ryzen,5800X systems but they still have the one below which is still a great deal.
