Realityxp 530 knobs not functional

I think that's the same heading as one I found three years ago, but I have the same problem and the solution then has not helped me.

Neither set of knobs is functioning.  No frequency changes on the left and no page changes on the right.  The knobs turn but - nothing else.

I have tried the advanced setting for the mouse with no change.

I am using an Alabeo Aztec and have replaced their version for greater functionality.

Let's focus on one knob at a time.

Can you please describe, in the most detailed way, how do you actuate the left knob with your mouse, step by step (where do you place the cursor, what cursor shape displays, what button you press, etc..)

HI RXP,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

If I hover over the right hand knob I get a caption which says 'knob groups'.

Taking the hint from your question I have found that the mouse needs to be centred at the inner edge or outer edge to get control of the pages etc.

Looks like this is the answer!!!

I'll see if it is and if so, then thanks very much.  Easy when you know how!

Oops, not a total answer.  The inner edge gives different pages but I don't get any response from the small knob.

The left large knob the same - it gives me Mhz tuning but no Khz on the small one.

Right, no I can see I have to use the inner edge to get what the small knob did on the previous version I replaced.  At the top I get the groups of pages and at the mid-left I get individual pages.

Do the small knobs do nothing?

Are you sure you're using the Reality XP GNS V2?
