crossfill in xp11? (resolved)

Recommended Posts

Is it working in this sim?  I've tried enabling on Digital Replica RV10 (in the ini) and its greyed out in the sim.

Hi Ryan,

I've just tried it out and I can't repro. I've even tried your ini file verbatim and I can't repro either.

Are you sure this is the correct ini file? When in the simulator aircraft, if you open both GNS Settings Panels, do you see both displaying Crossfill enabled?

NB: the aircraft is not a factor for crossfill, only the settings in the ini file.

I changed the ini file after it came with the addon.  I had to enable the 530 and 430, then I enabled crossfill in the rxp menu.  And this file is the result.  Both GNS's show fine and work okay but crossfill is greyed when I go to GNS530 MENU.

I understand the file is what was generated at the time you did it. I just want to cross check with you if you do open the settings panels now, do they still show Crossfill enabled regardless of what the file is saying.

Yes "use crossfill" is still ticked in the sim for both units.

Quick update:  It appears to be working now when I put a simple flight plan in.  Before I had only loaded an approach and it wasn't filling.  I also just now tested loading approach it it's working fine.  So I don't know what changed but I had already done a sim restart after enabling crossfill and earlier it didn't work.  But now it does. Blah!
