March 31, 20215 yr Little flight , LSZH - LSMA , i'm the number one enemy of small planes , "military forces" from this forbidden base will not appreciate my visit . Maybe others will like it more? (reference , even if I don't think it's necessary to specify here) "The Air Base Alpnach (ICAO code LSMA) is a Swiss Air Force airfield near the town Alpnach in Canton of Obwalden in Switzerland. It has a concrete runway with a length of 1,500 meters (4,900 ft) and a width of 40 meters (130 ft), as well as several taxiways and hangars." Not long enough apparently for someone without thrust reversal 😄 But I didn't drown in the lake this time ....... I think these planes are much more difficult than some airliners etc. !
March 31, 20215 yr Ben, Practice, Practice, Practice. I find it also helps the aircrafts inherent lack of swimming abilities, to not fly over water. However, landing upside down on land can also prove to be somewhat tricky. Lovely screenies by the way. Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. March 31, 20215 yr Ben, I think fitting floats to the top of the wings may present some aerodynamic problems and to be very sure of any sort of safe landing on water, utilizing your unique methods of flying, you would need floats top and bottom LOL Have you tried a vertical stall landing from ten feet above the water (more floats may be required for this) Thank you so much for your contributions on this forum mate. "probelm solved" 🙃 no wait 🙂
