MB339 vs. Goshawk T45

Featured Replies

To those that own both aircraft from IndiaFoxTecho, which is the more fun to fly?

Both have had updates now. I want one but not both. I am leaning towards the MB339 with its steam gauge cockpit, even tho it is apparently slightly less advanced in terms of systems modelling.

I also read that it is lighter and more nimble than the T45, although the T45 is slightly faster.

From screen shots and videos, MB339 seems to have a better view out the canopy.

With both aircraft, apparently there is an issue with the HUD that requires turning off TAA. That’s a bit off putting. Can the HUD be disabled?

I’m happy with my MB339. Great textures and good performance on my pc. The flight model does feel rather simplified though. Also, only the T45 has a working HUD. The MB339 had the glass gun sight there which can be removed by clicking below it. I usually fly with it disabled for a better view.

I only have the MB339.  The HUD on the T45 is not collimated (a limitation of MSFS right now) and I also thought I saw some posts saying the HUD reduces FPS by a non-trivial amount.  Collimated huts will have to wait for MS/Asobo, I'm not sure if any of the updates have helped with the performance.

I've both and nothing to complain about. Different performances but both are pretty good 🙂
