April 15, 20215 yr Hi Oliver, Is it possible to assign an Axis value to a local variable ? For example, to implement a mixture management according to the position of an axis. - Full Rich (95 - 100%) - Auto Rich (60 - 80%) - Auto Lean (10 - 40%) - Cut (0%) Of course could be use for a lot of other fucntions, when the aircraft "modeling" don't use axis but discrete values/positions. (like 2 step spoilers, just to name some). It is easy to write the RPN script as long as we can get the actual value. Regards Gérard Edited April 15, 20215 yr by gaab
April 16, 20215 yr Commercial Member Hello Gerard, On the script editor window there is a button to insert the "script variable". That one is a private LVar (= it is not sent to the sim) containing the axis value as determined by physical lever position and Axis Max and Min parameters (that you can adjust on the Change Axis dialog) The variables' name is (L:scriptgroup-scriptname) You can then assign this script to an axis with the Event box (second row from the top) Edit: works for buttons too of course. The Lvar then contains the event value that you enter in the little box on the assignment dialog. Edited April 16, 20215 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
