April 18, 20215 yr Punta Cana to Saint Marteen with the FBW A320, experimental version, real weather, daytime. 52 minutes on a beautiful route, high to ultra settings, 4K, multiplayer on, it was a very nice flight, no stutters, no problems, just a lot of fun. I can live with some limitations and a flight model that still needs some loving care. And if I want a great aircraft, I can still use the PSX 747-400 with WidePSX, which is very good. Second flight: since we are at Princess Juliana, let's try a short hop to Saint Barth on a Cessna 172. Perfect flight , cool landing, all very good. At the end, I noticed that I was on the wrong server, with a ping around 110 ms. Go figure. So, if this is the experience, I love it. If it is last week's, I hate it. A.
April 18, 20215 yr Hey mate! Have you tried the new modified Bush Kit C172 over at flightsim.to? https://flightsim.to/file/12387/cessna-172-bush-kit It will be great for St. Barts. More powerful engine, more flap angle (40 degrees), stronger brakes. It's loads of fun. I am going to give it a go into St. Barts later, as I struggle getting the default C172 down there - it likes the water very much at the end of the runway! I might stand a chance with this bush version! Edited April 18, 20215 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
