HiI spent the last week in the Far north, and let me tell you it was not good. The motel and most of the Cairns region lost power for over 48 hours which meant no cool air or hot water as people dont use gas.There was trees and powerlines all over the road, and we were about 80KM north of innsvale, the worst hit region.I am glad to be back in Mel.Lets hope it never happens again...terrible.
