May 6, 20215 yr Just what it says, a few shots around Beijing with the AviaJam landmarks addon (and Bijan's Seasons packs). Out from ZBAA, and heading pretty much due west planning to come down to the city centre from the north. Pretty much just following the clusters of PoI popups. I had turned them off initially when the sim came out but then discovered the Mugz mods to enable me to turn them on/off wih a keypress in flight. Now I fly, stay in the cockpit and use the POI markers to cruise around, record the flight and then go back on the replay to explore with the drone, take screenshots etc without the markers showing. It's turned in to a great little system for what I want to do. So just some generic scenery on the route west Turning south/west, city centre in the distance To the west of the city is the Summer Palace. Looks like a pleasant place to while away the summer Crossing back east to the National Stadium Then back west a bit and down over the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace To the south of the Palace is Tiananmen Square Looking north over the Square East side of the square is the National Museum of China And to the west is the Great Hall of the People Just south of here is the Temple of Heaven Then the business district with the China Zun and other modern buildings is a little ways north and east again And away we go, off to ZBNY in the south of the city Plenty more to explore, and it'll be interesting to go take a look at the surrounding landscape - there are some scenic areas and hills to the west that might be worth a visit. And all from the comfort of my own man-cave. cheers, Andy Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case.
