TropicalSim? SOLVED!

Featured Replies

Does anybody know if TropicalSim is still in business? I have sent them emails for support and FB messages with no response. I am having trouble with the P3D version of KABQ -- no jetways are showing. I have tried reinstalling and following religiously their SODE instructions (moved the files where they need to go) and still no luck. I don't think it is a SODE problem since there are no red 'Xs' where the jetways go. Just nothing. Gate numbers and the remainder of KABQ show up fine. SODE works fine in other airports.

Many thanks!

P.

Works fine for me, did you manually copy the SODE folder from the scenery folder like written in the instructions?

Yes. One would think if there was a SODE issue, the infamous red 'Xs' would appear. They don't. Here are some screenshots of the SODE sub-folders:

I had also renamed the static file to off in the KABQ folder.

The files should go into your C/PROGRAM DATA/12b folder.

Thanks Dufus01! I must have had a senior moment because I read the SODE instructions twice and still picked the wrong folder in Explorer. A senior moment 😞

Anyway, it works fine now!

Again, thanks so much.....

Peter
