May 13, 20215 yr As the title says…the in game updater is calling for 73 gb for the France update, 1.15.7 and anything that came after. I looked into the update which many were saying about 23gb then more from content manager. Does this sound correct? When I saw this in game, I just shut down and did not yet do the update. So it’s not a full reinstall but it seems like too much. MS store version. Thanks!
May 13, 20215 yr The estimated download size is so often incorrect, and can be wildly out. I would just ignore it and update. The only time you need to check is if you have deleted your user config file (as some people do to refresh the settings back to datum) as it will look to reinstall the whole sim again wherever it thinks it should rather than your chosen location (if your chosen location is different). May 14, 20215 yr Author Appreciate the reply. I downloaded the update with no issues mostly. The G1000 needed an update but that was it. Felt really good. Smooth. Seems like any micro stutters I may have had are basically gone.
May 14, 20215 yr It is gradually getting back to where it should be. They recently changed the way the screen is refreshed to a better method, so even when locked at vsync 30 inside the sim, it is a lot smoother. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
