The Convair Sea Dart

Featured Replies

Welcome to the world's fastest sea-plane. The Convair F2Y Sea Dart. A fine looking beast that would be fun to have for MSFS. Tried to convert it but no go. So here's some pix from the P3D version (actually an FSX version, I suspect). Freeware, still available on Sim OutHouse, and more info on wiki ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convair_F2Y_Sea_Dart )

Here she is in flight

Great shots of a plane that I have never heard of, Andy. It's really fascinating to learn with what sort of designs some countries came up in those years.

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
