C208 mods - which one ?

Featured Replies

For the C208 pilots here.

There are so many mods floating around. Could some someone recommend a good one, please.

Or is the stock version up to scratch ?

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend.

Greetings.

Yes I would like to know this also.  There is a new 'no pod' version of the C208 over at flightsim.to that is very appealing, with plenty of nice repaints coming out, so this has raised an interest in it for me, especially now Asobo are starting to improve turboprop behaviour.

They look great!  As I really don't like the look of the pod for some reason.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

The only problem I have with stock version is - the turning circle is terrible - turn like an ox-wagon .. LOL

Yes, that is true!  I have downloaded the one below which takes care of the turning circle, plus lots of other things, but like you, I want to know if that is the best, and will it interfere with Asobo's latest turboprop improvements?

Thanks BobCat

My concern too. Will stay with the Asobo version for now. Lots of toe-brake and thrust to make the van turn 😄
