June 6, 20214 yr I thought I'd start a thread here for comments on the new Widgeon for MSFS I had the aircraft in FSX and P3D as well,, and it is nice to have it in MSFS as well. I don't notice a lot of differences (mind you, I'm not a rivet counter, nor a checklist fetishist) but there's a few things that jump out. First, the altimeters doesn't work. Bit odd to se this in an aircraft.. Then, if you zoom out in external view, at a certain moment, chocks, tie ropes appear, and the props become stationary, like here: jk5404 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr when they appear varies with the angle you're viewing the aircraft btw. The model is listed as beta, so I'm hoping these things will be remedied soon? All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2
June 6, 20214 yr Mark (Flysimware) has asked that all issues on the Widgeon for MSFS Beta be posted in the thread MSFS 2020 Grumman G44A Widgeon beta that he started and pinned above. I know he appreciates the feedback from users and having everything in one thread will help him track all issues with the beta. He is aware of the issues with a couple of the gauges and the LOD. He sent out the email message below a few hours ago: The Grumman G44A Widgeon MSFS2020 Quick note. I have fixed the gauges that were not working. This was all caused from a missing code. The other thing i fixed was the exterior LOD models. So for now do not zoom out too far or the model will not animate!!! Seems XBOX LIVE is not allowing me to connect to the sim so i can give out these fixes until tomorrow. So i will email you guys in like 10 to 12 hours with an update. Thanks for your patience as this is a beta version So look for an update later today or tomorrow. Thanks, Al Edited June 6, 20214 yr by ark
