June 14, 20214 yr Let me try to further explain some of this: - With the files indicated p20, sys_nand0 is a copy of the default one, the others are created the first time you run a device. - The original sys_nand0 file installs with the GNS trainer 3.30 in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\GNS Trainer\GNS - This is the default install folder for the trainer executable and its dlls as well. - The correct GNS trainer installer is automatically downloaded and launched during the RXP software installation. A copy of this installer should be saved here: C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\Common\GnsTrainer\GNS400W-500WSeriesTrainerLite_330.zip Having said this and reading the following: On 6/11/2021 at 2:46 PM, hunterch said: c:\ProgramData\Garmin\GTN Trainer\GTN1nonvol\sys_nand0 c:\ProgramData\Garmin\GTN Trainer\GTN4nonvol\sys_nand0 - These files have nothing to do with any RXP product. Are you using another vendor similarly named product instead?
June 14, 20214 yr Author I gave it a try. Unfortunately no change. Also the log file reports the missing files as before. As an additional try I did just run the RXP GNS installer to reinstall the GNS. Now the GNS does not power up.
June 14, 20214 yr Author A: Yes, Before installing the RXP GTN I had RXP's GNS and F1's GTN installed. No issue. The correct GNS trainer installer is automatically downloaded and launched during the RXP software installation. A copy of this installer should be saved here:C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\Common\GnsTrainer\GNS400W-500WSeriesTrainerLite_330.zip Q: GNS trainer installer is automatically downloaded and launched A: Yes, this is the case for the RXP GTN. When (re)installing the GNS only a very short installation is running. After installing the copy of a GNS trainer lite_330.zip/exe BINGO the thing works. Thank you very much the support 🙂 Edited June 14, 20214 yr by RXP
June 14, 20214 yr I'm glad you've sorted this out! NB: it is expected the GNS trainer lite won't power up standalone.
