Blimp in FSX

Featured Replies

Hello All, I am having a problem getting this fujifilm blimp for FS8 to work for FSX. I have been able to put in a lot of FS8 addons on to FSX and all of them have wored. For some reason, I am getting this message saying that it cannont display the visual model. Do you know why this is happening?Thank you,Dylan WhitmoreBlimp file: fuji2002

Hi. You should have posted this in the FSX Forum. The Fuji blimp does work in FSX. Most of the gauges are FS98 types and need to be replaced by later version ones. I have replaced all of them for my own use. I have contacted the author to see if he has any planned updates. It is a neat blimp. The Goodyear blimp works OK too with some gauge modifications. Regards, Bob.

DylanFYI, the message 'cannot display visual model' generally means there is something wrong inside the model.cfg file.Make sure you have the proper folder structure for the aircraft:/model/panel/sound/textureand the model/model.cfg file (it's a text file) should reference the exact filename of the model, or something along those lines.Make sure your aircraft.cfg references are all correct too.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2310 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 2.5-3-3-8 (1T), WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian case
