'Real LIife'?

Featured Replies

I know what you mean, but I think it is OK because there are two sub-classes of reality: what should happen and what does happen. Reality I think best describes the former. The latter could be expressed as "practical reality" but that doesn't stand out as much as "real life". Has a bit more impact IMHO :D

DaveSurely it depends in what context you are using it?" I am a reality pilot" would not be right" I am a real life pilot" would be better " I am a real world pilot" would be better still"Online I post under the name of Commander Joe the fighter ace" ."Real life I am a Brain surgeon and my name is Joe Bloggs"In the above you could use " in reality I am" but also "in real life I am" surely???Peter

Hi Peter,No, "I am a real Pilot"?As most of us on here are 'Sim' pilot's, reality I think, is what we do when not 'simming' surely. Thanks to the 'spell checker' for correcting my 'grammar' word.Nice to have fans, LOL ;-)Dave T. .........On the Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/http://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/c130/c130_captain.gif
