FS2Crew Weekend Update - 26 June 2021!

Weekend update!

I'll cut to the chase...  We're still not ready to release the FBW version.

I just looked at the Visual Studio code metrics, and we're at close to 40,000 lines of code, all fresh and brand new.

This is our first major MSFS crew simulation, and we're swinging for the fence on this one.  It has to be perfect.

We made a big breakthrough on a new feature last week, and it's worth waiting a bit more time for.

We also have to update Pushback Express again to match the new changes, which I'm actually doing right now at this very moment.

Again, apologies for the seemingly endless delays, but this is our next Next Generation FS2Crew for MSFS.

We expect MSFS to be the dominant flightsim platform by a country mile for the next 10 years.  Once PMDG releases their 737 for MSFS, then P3D is more or less finished.  At least that's our take.  Feel free to disagree (and I'm sure the X-Plane users will 🙂 ).

We've been the #1 flight crew simulation for the past 15 years, and in order to be the #1 crew simulation for the next 15 years, we need to constantly innovate and push boundaries.  All of our customers are loyal, repeat customers.  We need to keep it that way.

But sometimes, striving for perfection and trying to raise the bar can result in delays, especially when dealing with a new platform like MSFS.

In the meantime, keep enjoying Pushback Express for MSFS.  Give the new PMDG DC6 a go.  And if you're into study level sims, our FSX/P3D offering are still extremely competent.  The NGX-U version of FS2Crew is still quite popular, as is our FSLabs Airbus version.

Stay safe and have a nice weekend!

Cheers,
