Black A/C Preview

Recommended Posts

Since the update to 5.2 I have a black aircraft preview in the simulator settings window.

If go into the vehicle select menu and select it again, it is shown. I think I had this before when 5.0 came out and after a while it just went away.

Everything else runs fine. I have no problems with graphics. It doesn't matter which aircraft. It's with all. I have the latest NVidia driver and updated Windows 10.

I had this also.  It was a shader problem for me after uninstalling Envtex.  I had to reinstall the client and it came back

I have Envtex too but did not uninstall it. Maybe I try a reinstall of the client anyway. Some days ago I had the left upper corner of the sim-window inside the aircraft preview flickering wild. After a restart of the sim it was gone. I wait for the HF1 before reinstalling. Hope it doesn´t take long anymore.

I wonder if it has to do with the requierements for P3D, but I have plenty of RAM and VRAM.

5.2 HF1 still the same. The window shows the simulator screen. It is flickering fast, what can´t be shown on the screenshot. I did not have this with 5.1 HF2.

I tried to delete the generated files and let them rebuild but also did not solve the problems. Will ask over at Prepar3D.
