June 30, 20214 yr So I have an issue that just started happening recently where every time I go to do a flight I have to press CTRL+SHIFT+U before I can turn the aircraft especially while on the ground which I think enables nose wheel steering but not positive. How I can enable this permanently again, so I don't have to press the keys. I use a Logitech joystick and this issues just popped up within the last couple of months. Thanks Jason Thiers
July 1, 20214 yr Hi Jason, Well CTRL+SHIFT+U is linked to the toggle for Autorudder so this is usually controlled by a setting in the Realism settings in P3D. Does the pressing CTRL+SHIFT+U not turn it on permanently? Jason Thiers

That keyboard shortcut setting should be saved based on when it was last toggled on /off however if the setting in the Realism page is set to off, the sim will start each time with Autorudder disabled. I would check the Realism settings page first and determine if that setting was selected as being off.If it is, set to active. Exit the sim and re-start. Check that the Autorudder option is still enabled.
