Carenado P3d V4 Compatible Business Jets

Featured Replies

Which of Carenado's business jets are best, that is to say least Buggy, best simulated etc.

Have Premier in FSX Steam. Had a terrible time getting the FMS loaded.

Thanks.

I would say none of them, without mods.

WITH mods...yes.  Their Embraer Phenom 300 with Bert's mods / GTN is pretty good.   It has some issues with higher altitudes/flight model but other than that it's ok.

You might be better off posting this in the Carenado (general) forum here at AVSIM.

How about Xtreme Prototypes Lear 25b? An older jet like that running dual GTNs looks good.

the FSW learjet can be put 2 (dual) GTN's ...
I have the lear 25 xtreme prototypes and it suits me very well too but I lean more towards the LJ35

Which one is most systematically and procedurally accurate?

both are pretty good and much better than carenado

the LJ35 FSW is better in performance and is constantly being updated.

LJ25 XP, requires more pc resources

I can understand why more resources. The fsw 35 appears a little more animation but xp 25 looks near photo.

if you are looking for eyecandy, systems and procedures it would be the xp25

Fsw is not visually attractive (although external view looks very good) but the systems and procedures and the flight dynamics are very good.

In my case, I like better that the systems and flight dynamics work better than eyecandy.

Well, the FSW Lear gives the option of the addon FMC. Desirable because on my system the GTN doesn't always play well with AMD atioglxx.dll and cause CTD.

I would love if FSW made their FMC usable in the Falcon 50 also. The old Yannick Lavign freeware Falcon is one of my favorites. I still use it sometimes in FSX-SE. In FS2004 I had it set up with CIVA.
