July 9, 20214 yr Anybody help I have a Hoyas 4 joystick and throttle setup Works well But now some strange things are happening Throttle stay at full revs and only reduces if at at all after several attempts Flaps keep going down one notch spontaneously Steering is some times locked in forward direction These faults appear as a cluster but not all the time Tried using a different USB port Joystick and throttle set up work fine in P3D v5 and XPlane Anything I could try? xxd09
July 9, 20214 yr I would as a start go into the MSFS Menu under Controllers. Make sure that your joystick is selected and then run thru all the axis and keybinds linked to both it and the sim actions. It is possible to bind more than one action to a key/axis which can cause all sorts of erratic and unexpected issues. The fact that it is working fine in other sims can only mean it is a settings issue. Alternatively create a totally new profile for it and set each axis and button manually. I have 3 devices with throttle controller axis' - I find it is best to totally unplug the one/s I am not using. Leaving them all plugged into USB ports can cause interference with things like a throttle axis moving "by itself". I lean towards the latter.
