July 13, 20214 yr Hi all, Anyone using WidevieW in MSFS ? I am using MSFS only on my server with one wide front view of 2x 4K 43”. Zoom at 0.60 to “fix” the fisheye as much as possible. My left view pc has 1x 4K 55” and shows a non stretched view. My dilemma is if I am able to connect the slightly stretched left side of the front view to the non stretched left view… In P3Dv5 I have a Wideview stretch fix that MSFS does not have at this moment. Before buying an extra MSFS + WidevieW I was hoping that perhaps one of you has tried it or is using it . Thanks, Gerard Missing my left view ….. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

July 13, 20214 yr Author Then I will be the first …. Just bought a second MSFS, after making a second MS Account, and currently the left view pc is at 2,5 Gb download from 86,55 Gb. Will first try the WidevieW trial to see if I can “connect” the views. If that works out I will purchase WidevieW. There is also Widetraffic that synchronizes AI ac and Airport vehicles. Nico Kaan is working on PSXT for MSFS which starts to look better by the day. I am curious if it all is going to work out as I hope 😁 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
July 13, 20214 yr It's incredibly disheartening that they still don't have proper multi monitor support. I'm bummed I can't use it with my 3 monitors, but it must be infinitely more frustrating having an amazing simulator like that. I wrote a little shader last year that didn't garner any interest on this forum, but it may be of interest to you: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/584741-multi-monitor-distortion-workaround-shader Good luck with your experiments, I hope it works out! Nice work you have done. However, I do not want black parts on the outer sides of the front view. Multi monitor support is planned after 6-8 months from now (I hope)…. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
March 17, 20224 yr Hi Gerard, On my side I use Wideview 2021 in mixed mode, that is to say that the server is with FSX in order to keep my planes and my GoFlight modules and others compatible. My client pc is with MSFS2020 for the external scene view. The server pc has 5 screens and the client pc has 3 screens for front view only. I also have a stretching problem with MSFS. I would like to know if you also use Widetraffic because with the latest version of vPilot I have problems with the planes connected to VATSIM. Thank you Christian
