July 17, 20214 yr Thought I might set up a flight from Damascus to Tehran. Got the new OIIE airport scenery and it's great, so that felt like it might be good trip. Went to take a look around Damascus first though and wow! I really thought I'd fired up my old FSX system by mistake. I can understand that it's probably not a good location to expect amazing aerial imagery these days, but even so, it looks pretty bad. Oh well, it's the only really disappointing place I've discovered so far which is not bad going. I know Tehran is pretty good for an arrival so maybe I'll go from Beirut instead. And who knows, this may get sorted with a regional update at some point. July 20, 20214 yr Author OK, so, I discovered today (while dealing with a whole access problem - see https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/603546-are-the-microsoft-servers-down-again/page/4/#comments ) that these pix were taken in effect, in offline mode.
