July 18, 20214 yr Just bought this beast but I am finding that the knobs on the left hand side are too small and stiff. Has anyone had any success at replacing these with larger knobs? Specifically I was wondering if they just pull off. I am worried at breaking something. Thanks in advance.
July 20, 20214 yr Yes they just pull off and I also replaced mine a while back as well.. I went with some off of Ebay that had a clear location and larger diameter work much better now. They also had Set Screws so was able to firmly secure them to the knobs. I was able to get the knob off the Multi panel fairly easy, I just want to confirm that you removed the knob from the Radio Panel and not the MP, and if so, how did you do it and was it easy to get off. Thanks in advance. John You mean the Radio Mode selector knobs -- com 1 / com 2 / nav ... TXPD.. Yes I took those small knobs off and replaced them with the red knobs above... which with 5 in a pack was the exact number I needed for my 2 Radio panels and 1 MP 🙂 Les O'Reilly
