how do you WA/uptain METAR in MSFS ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Sorry if its a banal thing that might have been found ,  but i have always found it strange i cant find the METAR on the world map or in flight for that matter.

When using real weather (or static i guess) how do you fellow simmers  do it 😃 ?

A Workaround perhaps ?

If its not implemented its rather strange isnt it ?

Weather in MSFS is not very dependable, although it has gotten better in the last 1-2 months. Here is what I do to cope:

- I use the Shift+Z app from Flightsim.to for in-sim wind at my location.

- I google metars for weather at my departure and destination.

- If I see a discrepancy in the metar weather and the in-sim weather, I use the "unreal weather" app for MSFS to fix it.

- At some smaller airports, no metar is available. In that case, I use Windy.com to get at least some information.
