Make Oculus Quest more comfortable.

Featured Replies

For me that means taking the pressure off my big nose.

These 3 items will each take maybe 30% of the pressure off :

1 AMVR Back Padding (VR Caludron tested replacement headstraps, Elite etc. and he and Jess both said this pad does more for comfort than any replacement headstrap. I agree it is mega comfortable.

2 A battery held to the back of strap with velcro strips.

I use this battery (VR Cauldron recommended), and two of these velcro strips, and this USB wire to run from battery to headset (because Amazon reviewer said the wire works really well on Oculus 2)

3 (often overlooked): A sweat band. (Vertically around the headset, not horizontally around your head). Picture shows another headstrap. It works just as well on the cheap strap that comes with the Quest2. It won't work with an Elite strap because it doesn't have a top.

You do not wrap it around your chin (LOL) just put it on like this and then put the headset on. Your head pokes the band up against the headstrap top. Relievs pressure from the front of your face. This works really great !

Other brands of sweatbands work as well as the Poshei as long as they are soft like a handkerchief so your head will poke it up against the strap top.

I was getting some very annoying skin irritation from the foam pad, so I put in for the free rubber replacement being offered by Oculus after the recall.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
