fS2020 sometimes loads and sometimes doesn't

Featured Replies

Hi All,

If this should be in the hardware forum just let me know.

So my new PC has arrived and it is a good piece of kit.  I have downloaded FS2020 and the install went fine.  The issue I have is that when I click to open FS2020 from the taskbar I will get a black screen that transitions into the opening splash screen and the programme loads no problems OR, I get a black screen that then disappears and I'm back to my desktop screen.  It's almost like it has failed to start.  I really don't know what the problem is.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't!

Am I missing something here?

The Firewall is all good and my broadband speed is also over 150Mb so I have no issues there.

There doesn't seem to be any consistency regarding when it will open and when it won't!

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks and all the best.

Dan

The spontanious closing of a screen should indicate a crash.

Did you check the windows log file, maybe that can give a clue.

If it is a new computer which was delivered to you already built, check that everything is well seated inside in their slot (memory sticks and graphic card) and that no wire is a little loose.
