Floating in the Hudson

Featured Replies

I've started seeing something odd, and wondering if it's just me.

Starting in NYC, then following the Hudson to the NE, I start seeing some odd things in the water.  A bridge that doesn't go all the way across, lots of buildings and cars in the water, and a few other bits of scenery too, especially right beside the bridge (if I knew what bridge it was, I'd say so as to be more specific.)

Crossing the Hudson there is only Washington Bridge. If you see cars on it as if they were parked, that's normal. Got stuck there once for solid two hours. Think it was the ball game.

If you see many bridges, that's the East River.

And yes, around bridges traffic is all over the place.

Buildings in the river, though, is something new. Maybe a screenshot?

I forgot: if you see an A320 floating in the Hudson, that's Sully 🙂

Andy said going north east, it could be the Tappanzee bridge which cross the Hudson just at the northern tip on NY island ?
