AiCopilot won’t stay disabled

Featured Replies

All of my assistance options are disabled but as soon as I load into a parking spot, the AiCopilot is already activated in full and starting pushback. I have to immediately disable it, but it doesn’t save my off settings at the next load in…

I had the same today. AI copilot coms on & taxi guidance off. Exactly the oposite to what I normally have. I manually changed the selections.

The only times I've noticed these being changed are if I've done one of the flight lessons or the bush trips. I have to reset them before I do a free flight.

It stays off, if you switch it to off not "inside" the running sim, but when you first fire up MSFS in the menue, before(!) you started a flight. And of course, you should not have set useropt.cfg to read-only, although I am not sure if this is written into this config at all...

If you switch it off while already sitting at the gate, it is automatically turned on again after exiting to the main menue and starting another flight. Rather annoying...
