OH-23 VSI Gauge Not Showing Background

Featured Replies

The VSI gauge for the Hiller OH-23 does not display properly. It only displays the needle with no gauge showing. I have replaced the gauge and needle but have the same result.

Can anyone help me with this issue? I am using FSX Gold Edition and modified the panel with FS panel studio for FSX. Thanks

Was this chopper originally an FS2004 model?  Have you tried using a known good FSX VSI gauge from another aircraft?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Downloaded and took a look at it.
All it takes is a little "nudging" of the ALT & VSI gauges in the VC. All 2D panels are OK.
The 2 were overlapping while the VSI had a -1 for the initial X coordinate. (usually not good)
In the panel.cfg (make a backup if wanted) under the [Vcockpit02] section change these 2 entries :
gauge02=oh23!altimeter,  65,104,66,66
gauge03=oh23!VSI,  -1,100,66,66

To this :

gauge02=oh23!altimeter,  68,104,66,66
gauge03=oh23!VSI,  1,100,66,66

That should do it for you.
