Error Messages after starting another MSFS flight

Featured Replies

There appears to be a problem if I finish a flight in MSFS and then go back to the map and start another flight.  When doing this I got an 'external FS2Crew Command Center not running' error message. I then closed the Command Center icon on the Taskbar and started it gain and this time when I tried to launch it I got the Troubleshooting message appear.

Is there a way in which I can start another flight without having to exit MSFS completely and start again in order that FS2Crew Project launches correctly?

We generally recommend starting "clean" if you want to start a fresh new 2nd leg at a different airport via the main menu.

These are complex addons, and they're sensitive to the way they are loaded.  FSX and P3D were the same way with the complex addons.  You wouldn't want to reload the FSLabs or PMDG multiple times because it would induce problems.

However, in our testing we were able to go back and forth to the main MSFS menu a few times before WASM would fail.  WASM is our data reading module.  We'll see if we can improve it, but we're up against MSFS, which has complex issues of its own.

Edit Update:

However, another user just told me that if he closes the FS2Crew FBW panel before exiting to the MSFS main window, then the WASM problem doesn't happen again if you jump back and forth to the main MSFS start screen.

So make sure the FS2Crew panel is closed prior to exiting the FBW aircraft.

Hi again byork.  Thanks again for your help.  I will certainly try your users suggestion regarding closing FS2Crew panel before exiting and will let you know how it goes
