After starting a flight in XP11 VR (HP Reverb G2) WIN 10 I find the view incorrect and a panning rotate view is needed. The keys I have assigned for that wont work. Reset viewpoint from Steam VR does not help.
What can I do about this ?

XP has its own reset VR view command. That will put you in the pilots seat hotspot facing forwards.

To set myself up in the cockpit I have that bound to enter on the keyboard so its easy to find (I dont have hand controllers), look at where my feet are then hit enter. move a bit commands also work, which I bind to the hat switch.
