AAO and camera in MSFS

Featured Replies

Is it possible with AAO to control the camera in MSFS, for example with the mouse. I find no alternative to this.

No. While listed in the SDK documentation (and thus appearing in AAO) practically all SimConnect camera controls are inoperative in MSFS.

This has been the case since the Alpha - when Asobo promised to fix them eventually. Doesn't look like that is even possible with their new camera system, because we are still waiting for that fix. (We = developers who made camera control apps for the legacy sims...)

... in fact, just checking the SDK documentation for MSFS - the most important SimConnect procedures for camera control are gone. So this looks like that this "fix" will effectively never happen.
