September 4, 20214 yr Lately I noticed that when I begin a descent, the seatbelt sign is automatically turning on. (I'm using FBW Dev). Is this a function of FS2Crew, and if so, can it be turned off? Otherwise it's probably just more operator error! Thanks.
September 4, 20214 yr Commercial Member The FO / PM will turn on the seatbelt signs when you start your descent. That's deliberate. You want an option for him not to do that? Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 4, 20214 yr Author Options are always welcome, I suppose. Those of us that purchased the multiple switch panels &TCA Throttle Add-On likely want to be in control, even if it is not so realistic. I assume arming the spoilers for takeoff is similarly programmed to be more realistic? Thanks so much for being so responsive to your customers!
September 4, 20214 yr Commercial Member The TCA throttle has a seatbelt switch too? The FO will arm the spoilers during their After Start flow. However, if you start on the Runway in MSFS ready for takeoff, and you call takeoff, the FO will arm the spoilers if they're not armed. Cheers, B. September 4, 20214 yr Author No, no seatbelt switch, but I do use the "gear" switch on the TCA to arm the spoilers manually. I use other switches for lights etc. and although not realistic when flying with a co-pilot, I like turning stuff on and off myself. If adding options is problematic, I completely understand. I can always adjust how I fly. Really loving the program! Thanks so much.
September 4, 20214 yr Commercial Member Glad you like it 😉 In V1.1, we're making gear and flap FO control "options" for the hardware guys. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
