September 5, 20214 yr Hi there, the product is amazing and I am really enjoying it. However, as a newbie (to this product, not to the FBW A320), it is sometimes difficult for me to remember which actions are to be done by the Captain, and which are done by the F.O. So, I would suggest adding an (optional, you could select / deselect it from the options menu) cue / reminder line in the status screen, listing which action by the Captain needs to be performed to trigger the next step. You could use for that the same infobar which displays the FO flows (such as "ACTION: AFTER LANDING FLOW (FO)"), for example by displaying a text such as "CAPTAIN: DISARM SPOILERS" just after landing. This does not take more real state on the screen, and allows keeping all the info panels hidden, but would be helpful for us newbies so that we are not forgetting any action which is going to trigger a FO flow. Some triggers which could use this cur /reminder: * Beacon ON, Parking Brake ON (after BEFORE START CHECK LIST - above the line) * Engine mode selector to NORM, APU BLEED to OFF, ANTI ICE as required, APU MASTER to OFF (after start engines) * Disarm spoiler after landing * Set Parking brake at the arrival gate * Set Beacon OFF, stop engines (arrival gate) * Seat belts OFF (same, after engine stop) Those are probable the most important ones, but I probably have missed something... Just an idea for your consideration, keep the good work!

To see what the FO's flows are, open the INFO Center ("Info" button). It's all there right on the screen 😉 Check out this mini tutorial:https://downloads.fs2crew.com/fs2crew_downloads/tutorials/FS2Crew_FBW_Tutorial1.zip Cheers, Edited September 5, 20214 yr by byork B. September 5, 20214 yr Author Thanks for your reply, but what I suggested is something which does not take a lot of valuable screen space... I know the "ASSIST" and "INFO" pages, but I prefer to run your app with those closed, so that it does not use much area... Just keep displayed three lines: The menu bar, the drop-down list / play-button, and the status for the F.O. flows. I suggested using the same line as the status for F.O. flows, since most of the time the F.O. is not doing anything. Just to present some tips on action required by the Capt. Anyway, your call... ;-)
September 5, 20214 yr Commercial Member Actually, you just gave me an idea for a new way to present FO flow information 🙂 Problem is, Simconnect Text is currently broken in MSFS. We're hoping Asobo fixes it soon. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 5, 20214 yr Author Yes, if you could display the text (as an option) in the main MSFS screen that would be awesome. i have seen some app displaying texts inside MSFS, I think Flight Control Reply can do that, so may be this functionality is not fully broken. another way to do that would be to use the same engine that the Shift-Z mod from AmbitiousPilots uses to display sim variables on top of MSFS screen. just brainstorming…
September 5, 20214 yr Commercial Member Thank you for letting me know about the Shift Z mod. Displaying text directly "inside" MSFS is something we very much want especially, for the VR guys. As far as we know Simconnect Text is broken, at least it was in SU5 and it was only half working before that. Maybe it's unbroken now 😉 MSFS changes every month so who knows. We'll find out 😉 Edited September 5, 20214 yr by byork B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
