disable instrument autoselect

I have an annoying situation that I have not been able to solve. When in MSFS I change a cockpit view,  the instrument autoselect checks on and... I don´t like it!

How can I disable permanently the instrument autoselect option? I can disable it in cameras, but it comes back when I select the next instrument view.

surely someone can help, I've not even a clue as to what your seeing, never had such problem.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

I am not clear on what you are describing.  Can you give us more detail?

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Thanks for your replies! The problem is that with the A320NX (WT) the instrument autoselect checks on and even after I turn it off, it comes on when I select the next cockpit view!. It must be some setting on camera.cfg or similar but I couldn´t figure it out. It is an odd problem....I filed  a ticked to Zendesk but their advice was useless (userCfg.opt was read only - which is not).

Instrument autoselect ? what is that, I have never heard of it.
