September 8, 20214 yr I still cannot load any plane into KDEN. Loading freezes about 'half way' and I have to use the Task Manager to close MSFS . So I thought I'd try deleting the Premium component of MSFS via the Content Manager, and then reinstall the Premium component in case the original download "lost a bit in Denver"! I don't have any add-on scenery, and this problem persists even if I empty my Community folder. Is this relatively safe to do? Thx, Al
September 9, 20214 yr Author For anyone interested, it turns out you can expand the Premium content in the Content Manager and select a particular aircraft or airport to delete and reload. I did this with KDEN but the original problem persists. I also tried deleting and reinstalling all of the Premium content, but that didn't help either. Al
September 9, 20214 yr Hi Al, This is a known issue since SU5 update but, AFAIK, there is no known workaround. Mostly happens with 3rd party content, but in your case with a "premium" airport. One (well known) dev has speculated that the problem could be caused by a DRM issue. Here's the discussion in the devsupport forum: Sim freezes when loading, around 60% Hope it gets sorted out soon. I've had this problem for a while and was hoping the recent World Update might have fixed it since it seemed to be a scenery issue, but clearly not. Hopefully SU6 will come to the rescue.
