Hi Dave,

When ATC assigns a new approach for landing - should the flight path and plan info change in the GUI ?  I've noticed that it does not and if I'm missing a setting somewhere for that.

No, it is not supposed to change in the P2A window.  If you want, you can change it and Validate it.  Just be sure not to File it.

ATC keeps its own version of the plan. As in Real Life, It's up to the pilot to keep their version updated.  The only one you really need to change is the one in your GPS/FMS so the autopilot will fly the correct course.  If you want to see the new course on the moving map in P2A, then make the update there also.
