First day of Fall Season

I do love this add-on - I switched over to Fall North - Spring South today.  However, as I was flying in South America (Brazil) this morning, I suddenly noted that a number of the trees around my departure airport were carrying the colors of Fall.  They looked great, but isn't it supposed to be Spring here?

Not all southern hemisphere get fall colors. It's mostly the lowest part where the orange colors are.

Understood, but it's Spring in the Southern hemisphere now - why are there Fall colors at all?

On another note, it looks like MS/ASOBO did a great job with the "Harvest Moon" - approach into Fortaleza, Brazil last night:

The map is an example if you install spring N, fall S.

If you install Fall North, it is spring in south, Just think of the map inverted for Fall North, spring south.

Exactly, Bijan - I had Fall North - Spring South installed.  Yet, I had Fall colors while flying in Brazil.

I just explained it. Brazil is not is the spring color zone. 🙂

The orange part in lower part of the map is the opposite season. Upper part of Brazil is always green because it's in tropical. Lower part of brazil is still fall color because it does not reach the area where spring is.  To see spring, fly mower where the orange areas are in the map.

This map is for spring n, fall s, but the same rule applies for all seasons. Just imagine switching brown to top and green to bottom.

Thanks, BIjan.  Since the map was labeled as Fall-South (not Spring) and I was flying in northern to central Brazil, I was trying to make sense of the coloration.
