Updating the navigation database on the GNS430 and GNS530

Hi all,

Apologies if this may have been covered before, but I was wondering if anyone here has ever downloaded a navigation database from the Jeppesen store (Buy databases | Jeppesen Aviation Pilot Shop) and then apply it to the Garmin trainer used by the RXP GNS430 and RXP GNS530?  Before I go about spending a few bucks on the database from Jeppesen, I thought I should check to see if it can actually be used to update the Garmin trainer.   If anyone has managed to do it recently, I'd certainly appreciate it if you could provide a brief outline of the steps involved?
