A32NX problem

Featured Replies

Hey,

I have a problem with A32NX. When I'm on autopilot in some momment plane stops gaing height/descent. Here's video. Does anyone know how to fix that?

You are not in managed mode on the altitude selector like you are with the speed and heading, notice the dot on the right side of each? Hover the mouse over the ALT selector knob until you see an up arrow, click on it once and a dot will appear on the right side of the altitude selection. Clicking on a down arrow will place the aircraft in manual mode.

There is a flashing indicator "LVR CLB" - you need to move your throttle to the CLB detent.

Best to read the manual or follow a tutorial to get up to speed on the Airbus A320.

There is also another problem I don't know why but the arrow isn't showing up.

Never mind! I just needed to change cockpit settings in assibilities all working now Thank you!

That's great! I don't know why they added that feature, I switched it off right after it was added to MSFS.

Here is a fellow that I have watched on YouTube, he's a real world A320 pilot who has started a training series. I learned the A320 and 737 by playing the flights and doing mine at the same time. What is nice is that you can pause at any time to catch up.

It was added for XBox users who may not be using a mouse, just their XBox controller. Unfortunately, when they added it, they made it the default for PC users too. Bit of a mistake, that. But at least they gave us all the choice of the new or old way.

Ah, okay that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.
