Landing at Billy Bishop Airport

Featured Replies

Nice Landing on a clear day .... Nice G3X setup also in your plane. I'm just starting a project to install a G3X and a modern autopilot to complement my GTN 750.

I was there in July exploring the Toronto airspace. Here is my approach to runway 26 from Buttonville airport northeast of Toronto. I landed in Buttonville the day before just near the tornado in Barrie Ontario. In fact, i got the warning on my cell when on the approach segment to Buttonville.

Comment are in French.. in a nutshelf ; With COVID, the Tower is quite relax, no transponder code, no heading or altitude to maintain. Just a clear for landing authorization on final.

At 2m00s turn to final on runway 26 with the nice view on Toronto.

At 5m00 Same marshal at Stolport FOB !!!

@kama2004 Very nice! Pretty cool airport especially with Porter airlines! Good luck with your G3X! It is fantastic! Weather has been very good in Southern Ontario so still lots of VFR flying before the snow hits!
