October 7, 20214 yr Hey, Pilot2Atc often tells me to decend via (or expect) an arrival with a transition, which I can´t select in the FMS. E.g. I flew to EDDF RWY 07C. Pilot2ATC told be me to descend via the SPES1H arrival with the SPESA transition. But there is no SPESA transition in the CRJ FMS. Im quite new to Pilot2ATC/IFR procedures, so maybe I´m missing something. Thank you! FMS: Spoiler
October 7, 20214 yr Commercial Member It sounds like the AIRAC data is not at the same cycle level in P2A and your aircraft or SIM. This would cause the available procedures to be different. Dave
October 7, 20214 yr Author Im using Navigraph NavData. Both Pilot2ATC and the Sim and the CRJ are using the newest AIRAC.
October 7, 20214 yr Commercial Member Just checked and there is a SPES1H for runway 07C in the data. The SPESA transition is the Common Route, so, depending on the aircraft, it may not show up as a transition option, but would be the first waypoint when you load the SPES1H STAR. Dave
October 7, 20214 yr Author When I select "Vectors" as transition the CRJ, it shows the route, which Pilot2ATC wants me to fly. So if I don´t see the transition, I just have to go through the transitions in the FMS and find the right one. But why doen´t Pilot2ATC state RID as the transition? In the STARs menu, there is only SPESA. In the Approaches Menu there is RID (the correct tranisition, which Pilot2ATC wants me to fly): Spoiler
October 9, 20214 yr Commercial Member An approach can have transitions also. They have nothing to do with the STAR or STAR transitions. Dave
