Option to keep tug connected at the end of pushback

Featured Replies

Hi,

In lots of real world videos of pushbacks the tug stays connected until both engines have stabilized. In most normal pushbacks that happens a good bit after they are done pushing back.

Would it be possible to add that as an additional option? I'm personally just using button control, so one extra push of the button, similar to the connect tug option would do the trick.

I could just delay setting the parking brake but a) that's not realistic b) the plane keeps ever so slowly moving (even with the push toe-brake option enabled).

The voice command would be something like "That's [two] good engine starts, you may disconnect.....".

Just saw it again this week in this nice video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1qA8ES6acc&ab_channel=JustPlanes  timestamp: around 19:54

Cheers,

Markus

I understand, the flypad of the a32nx somehow can do it. Not sure if they use the same API as you guys, but would be nice to also have the sound effects and rudder control.

We do have rudder control... which sound effects did you want?

Cheers,

Sorry you misunderstood, I love the rudder controls and sound effects of PBE. And I want to keep using them, and not use the pushback system of the flypad.
